Congratulations on what sounds like a fine performance!  Hopefully you&#039;ll post an mp3 here?

Yeah, premieres are potent experiences.  I find I rarely look at the players when my pieces are played.  No matter how many times we go through it, the recording always sounds much better a few days later....

I&#039;m very grateful for the opportunity of subsequent performances.  My works improve dramatically after about three performances.  I can take comfort in the anecdote about Bartok-supposedly he wouldn&#039;t let the string quartets be published until they&#039;d been performed a few times......</description>
